CUT THE ROAD, NOT SOCIAL CARE!
Join the “newt uprising” outside the next full meeting of East Sussex County Council
9.30am, Tuesdy 16 October, outside the County Hall, St Anne’s Crescent, Lewes BN7 1UE
Facebook Event: http://tinyurl.com/cuttheroad

Even as it prepares to squander at least £44m of our Council Tax on an environmentally disastrous white-elephant road through the Combe Haven Valley, East Sussex County Council is planning to cut £34m from adult social care, £14m from children’s services and £14m from ‘economy transport and environment’.
Join a battalion of newts, badgers and other wildlife (masks provided) outside the County Hall in Lewes next Tuesday (16 October) – outside the meeting where these cuts will be discussed – to support toads not roads, care not cars!
Organised by the Hastings Alliance and supported by the Combe Haven Defenders.
