Bring your broom to the Combe, your toad to the road, your raven to the Haven….
Join us on Friday 1 November for a Halloween walk through Combe Haven. Although it’s the night after Halloween, there may still be some spooky spirits around, haunting those who would destroy our beautiful valley.
Bring torches or lanterns, spooky costumes (perhaps you still have one from last year’s zombie action?), a phone (in case we lose anyone), and your best wailing voice.
Meet: Crowhurst recreation ground, 7pm (train at 18.19 from Hastings/18.22 St Leonards Warrior Sq). We will be leaving promptly so please be on time.
Return: We aim to get back to Crowhurst by about 9pm, for a drink at the Plough before catching the 10.16 train home.
Please note: the route may involve walking over rough ground, and it may be wet and slippery. We would ask everyone to bear in mind the potential risks and to be responsible for their own safety.
Contact number: 07565 967 250. Please call this number on the day if the weather is poor in order to confirm that the walk is going ahead.
