Rosamond (who organised the very successful Grannies’ Tree and Grannies’ Dinghy actions last winter) is organising another photo shoot in Combe Haven, meeting at 12.30pm on Sunday 12th January. The aim is to illustrate the state of the valley in winter (that is to say, almost permanently flooded) and to highlight the folly of building a road across it.
Bring your wetsuit….
It is very wet down there so please bring wet suits, diving masks, flippers, waders and any other suitable swimming equipment. Any extras that you don’t mind other people making use of would be appreciated. If you can’t make it but have any of the above equipment, please let Rosamond know.
The photoshoot will only go ahead if the weather is good. Please contact Rosamond at firstname.lastname@example.org, or 07756 768826, to check if it’s going ahead, and for details of the meeting place. The photo will be followed by a trip to the pub to warm up! All welcome.
Please contact Rosamond at email@example.com or on 07756 768826 if you are able to come, or to offer equipment.
