Camp: 3pm Friday Jan 30, to lunchtime Saturday Jan 31
Photo: Saturday 11am
With only a few days left until the planning committee makes a decision on the Queensway Gateway road, we’re holding a one-night camp in Hollington Valley. Come and see for yourself the beauty of the site, stay over if you’re feeling hardy, or just drop in for a cup of tea.
On the Saturday at 11am, we’d like people to come for a photo around the big oak. Bring placards or banners if you can!
Where: Hollington Valley, near the big oak. To get there, go to the very end of Whitworth Road (immediately north of Sainsbury’s on the A21). You’ll see a footpath straight in front of you (not the one that goes off to the left). The camp will be just along the footpath
When: From Friday 3pm until Saturday lunchtime
What to bring: If you’re camping, you need to be self-sufficient: tent, sleeping bag and mat, food to share, water, torch, cup. It will be VERY cold! If you don’t want to stay over, please drop in anytime for a cup of tea. Flasks of hot soup may be very welcome…
